Cheese range ✔ Checked: 10.2026 · sources: 1 Updated:

Sargento Sliced Cheese is the natural cheese slice range of the Wisconsin brand Sargento: cheddar, Swiss, pepper jack, mozzarella and more.

Sargento Sliced Cheese is the range of natural cheese cut into slices from Sargento, the brand of the family-owned Sargento Foods Inc. in Plymouth, Wisconsin (USA).

The range covers classic sandwich cheeses: mild and sharp cheddar, Smokehouse Cheddar, Swiss and Baby Swiss, pepper jack (Monterey Jack with hot pepper pieces), mozzarella and natural American-style slices. Sub-series include Ultra Thin, very thin slices, and Creamery, creamier cheeses; aged white cheddar and gouda slices belong to the Reserve Series.

Slices come 8 to 24 to a resealable pack. Natural cheese slices differ from processed slices: the cheese is made as ordinary cheese and simply sliced, not re-melted with added ingredients.

How to use: in sandwiches, burgers, toasties, melts and on a cheese board. Ultra Thin slices help when you want less cheese per serving.

Why it matters to you: the words "natural cheese" set these slices apart from processed cheese products, described under Processed cheese and cheese products.
