🥃 Danzka Fifty
The strongest permanent version of the Danish Danzka vodka: unflavoured, 50% ABV; whole-grain base, aluminium bottle.
Danzka Fifty is the strongest permanent version of the Danish vodka Danzka: 50% ABV, against 40% for the classic Danzka Forty. It is also an unflavoured vodka in an aluminium bottle, but bottled at a higher strength; the name states the figure directly. The base is the same as in the classic version.
According to Waldemar Behn, the whole Danzka range shares one base: 100% whole grain, distillation in six stages and soft Nordic water. Fifty is listed among the permanent versions both on the Behn page and in a 2022 Moodie Davitt Report item on the brand's travel-retail expansion. Separately there is Danzka The Spirit at 44% ABV, a version sold only in duty-free.
Why it matters to you. Compare Fifty with Danzka Forty: the 10-point difference in strength is noticeable both in taste and in effect, so in cocktails it is worth using a smaller measure. The brand has no flavoured versions at 50% ABV. The WHO reminds us that there is no safe level of alcohol consumption.
