Lubella Niki Cięte is short tube-shaped dry pasta made by the Polish brand Lubella. The product belongs to the Lubella Klasyczny range.
Ingredients: wheat pasta flour. Protein: 13 g per 100 g.
Sauce gets inside the tubes, so the shape works with tomato, vegetable and meat sauces as well as in baked pasta. Classic dishes for this shape: amatriciana, pasta alla Norma and puttanesca. Allergens: gluten (wheat). May contain traces of soy. As with any pasta, use plenty of salted boiling water and toss it with the sauce straight after draining. A common rule is about one litre of water and 7–10 g of salt for every 100 g of pasta. Lubella is a Polish brand from Lublin that grew out of an 1881 steam mill; it has made pasta since 1963 and has belonged to the Maspex Group since 2003.
