According to published descriptions, the whisky matures in American oak. The press release and reviews mention the best American casks, and The Whiskey Wash specifies bourbon casks. Tasters note iris and molasses, caramelised autumn fruit and baked apple with spice, and a soft, long finish. The distillery is owned by La Martiniquaise.
