🥃 Kahlúa Chocolate Sips
Kahlúa line in two versions, Smooth Chocolate and White Chocolate, based on the coffee liqueur; 16% ABV according to the producer.
Kahlúa Chocolate Sips is a Kahlúa line designed to be sipped as it is, over ice or chilled. It comes in two versions: Smooth Chocolate, a coffee and chocolate liqueur with real cocoa, and White Chocolate, a coffee liqueur with real cream and white chocolate flavour. Both are 16% ABV.
According to the producer, Smooth Chocolate is a blend of Kahlúa Original with cocoa, while White Chocolate combines the same liqueur with cream and white chocolate. Difford’s Guide adds that Smooth Chocolate uses arabica from Veracruz, and that its flavour is chocolatey and thick, with a light rum spice and a long finish of dark chocolate and coffee. A full list of ingredients is not given on the producer’s pages.
Why this matters to you. This is not Original: chocolate and cream make the taste sweeter and thicker. If dairy matters to you, note that the producer explicitly names real cream only for White Chocolate; for Smooth Chocolate, check the label. The strength is 16%, as in Original. The WHO reminds us that there is no safe level of alcohol consumption.
