🥃 Kahlúa Dunkin’ Caramel Swirl Cream Liqueur
Kahlúa cream liqueur with the caramel swirl flavour of Dunkin’: real cream, rum and arabica; 16% ABV; sold only in the USA.
Kahlúa Dunkin’ Caramel Swirl Cream Liqueur is the cream line of the Kahlúa brand, with the caramel latte flavour of the Dunkin’ chain. The producer describes it as a velvety blend of real cream, rum and arabica from Veracruz. It is 16% ABV and sold only in the USA.
According to the Kahlúa website, the drink combines caramel flavour with real cream, 100% arabica from Veracruz and a generous measure of premium rum. Difford’s Guide confirms the same ingredients (dairy cream, rum and arabica from Veracruz), states that the product is made in Mexico, and describes it as an opaque dark beige liqueur with a caramel latte aroma that is not too sweet.
Why this matters to you. This is a cream liqueur, so it contains dairy, unlike Original, which according to Pernod Ricard contains none. It is not sold in other countries, so it is hard to find in Europe. The producer suggests drinking it chilled, neat or over ice. The WHO reminds us that there is no safe level of alcohol consumption.
