Colavita Organic is Colavita's organic dry pasta range. According to the official site it is made from carefully selected organic durum wheat semolina. The pasta is a product of Italy, certified USDA Organic and labelled kosher.
The range has four shapes: spaghetti, penne rigate, Roman rigatoni and cut fusilli — the same shapes as in the Classic Cuts range. All are sold in 1 lb (about 454 g) packs.
Organic wheat is grown under organic farming rules checked by a certification body; in taste and use the pasta is the same as regular semolina pasta. Spaghetti suit tomato sauces and pesto, penne and rigatoni meat and chunky sauces, fusilli vegetable sauces. The range belongs to dry durum wheat pasta.
