Rummo Maxima

Pasta range ✔ Checked: 10.2026 · sources: 1 Updated:

Rummo higher-protein pasta made from organic durum wheat and yellow pea protein: 21 g of protein per 100 g.

Rummo Maxima is Rummo's range of higher-protein dry pasta. It is presented on the international (English-language) version of the brand's website.

The pasta is made from high-protein durum wheat and yellow pea protein, and the company says all ingredients are organic. The pea protein is extracted only by dry milling and air sifting, without chemical processes or additives. The result is 21 g of protein per 100 g of pasta, compared with roughly 12–14 g in ordinary semolina pasta.

Like the brand's classic pasta, Maxima is made with the Lenta Lavorazione® method; the company says it stays al dente and absorbs the flavour of the sauce in the same way as the classic range.

There are six shapes: spaghetti, linguine, penne rigate, fusilli, rigatoni and ridged curved Elbows Rigati. The range is aimed at people who want more protein in their diet, including those who do sport. It contains gluten, since its base is durum wheat.
