La Vache qui rit À Cuisiner (“for cooking”) is a range of the La Vache qui rit brand of the Bel group designed for the kitchen. The brand presents it as a new range for everyday recipes: the same taste of La Vache qui rit but with a creamy texture that coats the dish.
The cheese comes in a practical resealable 240 g pot, in a plain version (Nature) and with basil. By composition it is a processed cheese product: rehydrated skimmed milk, cheese, butter, cream, milk proteins and an emulsifying salt (polyphosphate). 100 g of the plain version contain about 230 kcal, 19 g of fat and 9.5 g of protein.
It belongs to processed cheese and cheese products: processed cheese does not split or release fat when heated, which makes it convenient for sauces.
La Vache qui rit À Cuisiner is added to pasta sauces, gratins, quiches and vegetable dishes, as well as wraps and enchiladas. After opening, close the pot and keep it in the fridge.
