Rustichella d'Abruzzo Chamhealthyon is a line of coloured spaghetti in which plant extracts are added to the durum wheat semolina dough. The shop lists five varieties: Spaghetti Spirulina, Spaghetti Carbone Vegetale (vegetable charcoal), Spaghetti Curcuma e Zenzero (turmeric and ginger), Spaghetti Matcha e Ginseng, and Spaghetti Dragon Fruit e Ribes (dragon fruit and redcurrant).
The spirulina spaghetti, for example, contain durum wheat semolina, 1% natural spirulina extract (Arthrospira platensis), 0.1% bergamot essential oil and water. They are deep blue and cook in 8–10 minutes. The company presents the line as artisanal pasta combined with plant ingredients.
The colour comes from the extracts themselves, so these spaghetti stand out on the plate even with a simple dressing such as olive oil, seafood or vegetables. The same section of the shop also sells edible 'Drink Straw' straws made of pasta.
