π₯ Campari Soda
Ready-to-drink Campari Soda: Campari and soda in a 1:2 ratio, 10% ABV, single-serve bottle designed by Fortunato Depero; from 1932.
Campari Soda is a ready-to-drink product in the Campari range. According to the producer, it is Campari and soda in a one-to-two ratio, sold in a single-serve bottle. Strength is 10% ABV. The colour is red, with citrus and herbal notes and a dry finish.
According to Difford's Guide, the drink appeared in 1932, and the conical bottle was designed by the futurist Fortunato Depero in 1929; the glass carries only embossed lettering. The producer writes that Davide Campari created it together with Depero. Sources give different volumes: 10 cl according to Difford's Guide, 9.8 cl according to The Grocer. According to Campari Group, Campari Soda is made at the Novi Ligure plant.
Why this matters to you. Campari Soda is already diluted, so the bottle does not replace Campari for a Negroni or an Americano, which need Campari on its own. Compare it with other lines by the ABV on the label. The WHO reminds us that there is no safe level of alcohol.
