According to the producer, the twaróg is made simply and naturally from pasteurised milk and live lactic cultures, with nothing else. The range includes low-fat, half-fat (also lactose-free) and creamy twaróg, the Wiejski twaróg in light, half-fat and full-fat versions, and 1 kg of minced twaróg for cheesecake. Half-fat Wiejski has 4% fat; it is shaped into an oblong block like home-made cheese and packed in a box with a resealable lid.
How to use it: eat twaróg for breakfast with bread, vegetables and herbs, or with honey and fruit; use it for syrniki, pierogi and Polish cheesecake (sernik).
Twaróg is the Polish form of curd cheese; the range is listed under fresh cheeses.
