Felicetti Special
Felicetti's flavoured dry durum wheat pasta: with cuttlefish ink, with garlic and chilli, and tricolour with tomato and spinach.
Felicetti Special is the flavoured pasta range of Felicetti from the Fiemme Valley in Trentino. The base is durum wheat semolina and water, to which flavouring ingredients are added, so the pasta has colour and aroma before any sauce.
The range has six items. Spaghetti and conchiglie with cuttlefish ink contain 4.3% cuttlefish ink (ink, water, salt), plus fish powder and lemon juice. Spaghetti aglio e peperoncino contain 3.9% of a mix of dried spices – garlic, chilli and paprika – and natural garlic flavouring. Tricolour spaghetti, eliche and fiocchi are coloured with dried tomato (3%) and dried spinach (2%).
It is dry durum wheat pasta for quick dishes with simple dressings. The cuttlefish-ink pasta suits seafood, the garlic and chilli spaghetti suit olive oil in the style of aglio e olio, and the tricolour pasta goes with vegetables or cream sauces.
