Production. According to Difford's Guide, the line launched in 2016 under the name Orochata, and in January 2020 it was renamed Horchata with a changed recipe: it is now lactose-free and free of milk proteins and gluten, and suitable for vegans. Chufa is not a nut but the tubers of Cyperus esculentus. According to the brand's description, you can taste chufa, spices, citrus and roasted nuts.
