🥃 Belvedere 10
Premium Belvedere line: rye from one field and one harvest, four distillations, ten months of rest; 40% ABV; launched in 2023.
Belvedere 10 is the premium line of the Belvedere brand: a vodka made from rye of one field and one harvest, which after production “rests” for exactly ten months. Its ABV is 40%. According to The Spirits Business, it went on sale in Europe in summer 2023 and worldwide in September of the same year, including in the United States.
The same publication describes organic Dankowskie Diamond rye from a single field on a farm in the Masurian Lake District in north-eastern Poland, and four distillations. The producer adds that the recipe is inspired by the process of 1910, when the distillery was founded. The sources do not specify what exactly the vodka rests in. The bottle has ten levels of height, which refers to the number 10.
Why this matters to you. Belvedere 10 is not a “ten-year-old” vodka: according to the brand’s story, the 10 refers to ten months of rest and ten steps of production. Compare it with Belvedere Organic Vodka by the origin of the rye, not by age. The WHO notes there is no safe amount of alcohol.
