According to the official site, the gnocchi and chicche are 80% potato purée (water and dehydrated potato flakes) and 18% type 00 wheat flour. The gnocchi also contain potato starch, rice, salt, flavouring, lactic acid as an acidity regulator and potassium sorbate as a preservative. They are ready in just 2 minutes: drop them into boiling water and wait until they float.
These gnocchi are not dry pasta but a soft ready-made product, which is why they sit next to other gnocchi on this site. Orecchiette are dry ear-shaped pasta traditional in Apulia.
The producer suggests the gnocchi and chicche for both everyday dishes and more elaborate recipes: with butter and sage, tomato sauce or cheese sauces. They contain wheat flour, so they are not gluten-free.
