Delverde Nidi
Delverde's range of dry pasta nests made from durum wheat semolina and water, without egg: tagliatelle, fettuccine, capellini, spaghetti.
Delverde Nidi is Delverde's range of dry pasta shaped into nests: long ribbons and thin strands rolled into skeins that are easy to portion. The basic nests are made from durum wheat semolina and water, without egg, so this is not egg pasta but dry durum wheat pasta in ribbon form.
Like the rest of the brand's pasta, the dough is rough-extruded and dried slowly at low temperatures at the factory in Fara San Martino, Abruzzo, where the dough is made with spring water from the Verde river.
The range includes nests of tagliatelle, fettuccine, capellini (capelli d'angelo) and spaghetti. There are also fettuccine nests made from organic wholewheat semolina and tagliatelle with spinach. Tagliatelle nests cook in 6 minutes; 100 g of dry pasta contain 14 g of protein.
The nests suit anyone who wants ribbon pasta without egg: with cream, mushroom and vegetable sauces, while thin capellini work well in broths and light soups.
