Delverde Egg Pasta
Delverde's egg pasta range made from durum wheat semolina and eggs: tagliatelle nests and the Le Matasse series with fettuccine and pappardelle.
Delverde Egg Pasta is the Delverde brand's range of dry egg pasta: ribbons rolled into nests or skeins.
According to the official site, the ingredients are durum wheat semolina, egg and water. The tagliatelle nests contain 19% egg; the Le Matasse series contains 23.8% fresh eggs from free-range hens. The dough is made with spring water, rough-extruded and dried slowly at low temperatures.
The range has six items: egg noodles and tagliatelle in nests, plus fettuccine, pappardelle, wide fettucce and tagliatelle in the Le Matasse series, which is packed in 250 g trays. Tagliatelle nests cook in 6 minutes, Le Matasse fettuccine in 5 minutes.
The producer recommends this pasta with meat sauces and for festive dishes. Thanks to the egg it has a yellower colour and a more tender texture than the egg-free semolina nests of the Nidi range. It is not suitable for people with an egg allergy.
