🥃 Dos Hombres Blanco
The first tequila of the Dos Hombres brand, on sale in the US since 1 May 2026: a blanco made from 100% blue agave at Tequilera Tap (NOM 1614) in Amatitán; 40 % ABV.
Dos Hombres Blanco is the first tequila of the Dos Hombres brand, which until then made only mezcal. It was announced in April 2026, and on 1 May it appeared in selected US stores. It is an unaged tequila of the blanco class made from 100% blue agave. Its strength is 40 % ABV.
The tequila is made at the Tequilera Tap distillery (NOM 1614) in Amatitán, in the state of Jalisco; the master distiller is Julio Cova. According to Food & Wine, the agave grows on valley plantations. About 75% of the hearts are baked in autoclaves and the rest in brick ovens. The must ferments in open tanks with wild yeast, and the spirit is distilled twice in stainless steel and copper stills.
Why it matters to you. Unlike the Dos Hombres Espadín mezcal, there is no smoke from an earth oven here: the taste is closer to pure roasted agave. Dos Hombres Reposado is the same tequila after several months in oak. WHO reminds us: there is no safe dose of alcohol.
