Entremont Râpés
Entremont Râpés is the grated cheese range of Entremont (Sodiaal): French Emmental, Comté, Gruyère, a 4-cheese mix and a pizza mix.
Entremont Râpés is the grated cheese range of the Entremont brand, owned by the Sodiaal dairy cooperative. The brand splits it into everyday grated cheeses and “terroir” ones from well-known French cheese regions.
The everyday group includes grated French Emmental and its organic version, grated Dégustation (Entremont's own recipe, ripened in Côtes-d'Armor from Breton milk), a 4-cheese mix and the Spécial Pizza mix, as well as grated Comté. The “terroir” group includes grated French Gruyère.
Emmental, Comté and Gruyère are hard pressed cow's milk cheeses that melt well and form a golden crust, which is why they are sold grated. Comté is a protected designation of origin, while French Emmental and Gruyère in this range are generic names.
Entremont grated cheeses are sprinkled over gratins, bakes and pizza and added to pasta, omelettes and soups. Once opened, reseal the bag tightly and keep it in the fridge.
