Pasta Zara Linea Bio Integrale is the organic wholegrain dry pasta line of Pasta Zara. According to the official site it is made from organically farmed wholemeal durum wheat semolina and water. The line combines two of the brand's approaches: grain from organic fields, as in Linea Biologica, and whole grain milled with its bran, as in Linea Integrale.
It has four shapes: spaghetti, penne rigate, mezze maniche and fusilli. Spaghetti and mezze maniche cook in 8–9 minutes, penne rigate and fusilli in 9–11 minutes. As in all Pasta Zara lines, the dough is made with spring water from the Dolomites.
Wholegrain pasta is darker and has a nutty taste; it goes well with vegetables, pulses, mushrooms and olive oil sauces. The line is aimed at people who want both organic raw material and more fibre. It belongs to dry durum wheat pasta.
