Banza Wheat Protein Pasta
Banza's dry pasta of wheat semolina with chickpeas, wheat protein and pea protein; it contains gluten and comes as rotini, penne and elbows.
Banza Wheat Protein Pasta is the brand's newest pasta line and the only one that contains gluten. Its ingredients are wheat semolina, chickpeas, wheat protein and pea protein. According to the brand, it has 70% more protein than traditional pasta, and the semolina and chickpeas come from US growers. To protect the gluten-free lines, it is made in a separate facility.
The range has three short shapes: rotini (similar to fusilli), penne and elbows (macaroni). The same pasta goes into Wheat Protein Mac and Cheese with yellow cheddar elbows or white cheddar shells. It suits people who want more protein from pasta that is closer to classic dry pasta, but not people who avoid gluten.
