Bella Pasta is the egg-free dry pasta range of the Bavarian family company Bernbacher. According to the brand, it is made only from durum wheat semolina; the spaghetti product page lists "100% Hartweizengrieß" as the sole ingredient. The brand describes it as following a traditional recipe and made in Bavaria.
The range offers Italian-style shapes. In 250 g packs there are fusilli, penne, spaghetti and tagliatelle; the 500 g packs also include rigatoni, fettuccine, spaghettini, maccheroncini, Amorini, Rondelli, Cornetti, Kordelli, Schnitt and Farfalline (small farfalle). Spaghetti cook in about 8 minutes in salted water.
Bella Pasta suits classic pasta dishes with tomato, cream or oil-based sauces. Because it contains no egg, it differs from Bernbacher's Die Guten egg pasta. The range belongs to dry durum wheat pasta.
