Pyriatyn Korol Syriv Lactose-Free
Pyriatyn Korol Syriv Lactose-Free is a lactose-free hard cheese with 50% fat in dry matter, sold pre-packed and by weight.
Pyriatyn Korol Syriv Lactose-Free is a lactose-free hard cheese from the Pyriatyn cheese plant of the Milk Alliance group. It has 50% fat in dry matter, like classic Dutch-type cheeses.
Ripened rennet cheese already contains little lactose, because most of it leaves with the whey and the rest is fermented by starter bacteria; lactose-free cheese is labelled separately so that people with lactose intolerance can choose it with confidence.
Formats: pre-packed 150 g pieces and 160 g flow packs, plus blocks of about 2.3 and 5 kg in film for slicing at shop counters.
How to use: like any hard cheese — on sandwiches, in salads, and baked with pasta and vegetables. Keep it in the fridge in a closed pack. If you have diagnosed intolerance, check the ingredients and labelling on the pack.
