Pyriatyn Hard Cheeses

Cheese range ✔ Checked: 10.2026 · sources: 2 Updated:

Pyriatyn Hard Cheeses are rennet cheeses from whole natural milk, sold by weight and pre-packed: Tradytsiinyi, Vershkovyi, Gouda, Maasdam, Radomer, Walnut.

Pyriatyn Hard Cheeses is the range of rennet cheeses from the Pyriatyn cheese plant of the Milk Alliance group. The producer makes them only from natural cow's milk, without vegetable additives or milk powder.

The range comes in two formats: whole wheels and blocks sold by weight, and pre-packed pieces. Varieties include Tradytsiinyi and Vershkovyi with 50% fat, Gouda and Maasdam with 45%, Radomer with 45%, Walnut-flavoured cheese with 50% and the lighter Hratsiia with 20% (fat in dry matter). Most are pressed Dutch-type cheeses close to gouda; maasdam has large eyes and a sweetish taste. In international terms they are semi-hard cheeses.

How to use: on sandwiches and cheese boards, in salads, and baked with pasta, potatoes or pizza. Lighter Hratsiia suits people watching their fat intake. Keep the cheese in the fridge in paper or film and take it out 20–30 minutes before serving.
