De Cecco range of spinach, tricolour and KAMUT® khorasan wheat pasta.
De Cecco Paste Speciali is De Cecco's range of 'special' pastas that differ in raw material or colour. On the official website it has three groups.
The first is pasta from khorasan wheat under the KAMUT® trademark: spaghetti No. 12, filini, penne rigate, mezze penne, mezze maniche, farfalle, fusilli No. 34 and tubetti. Khorasan is an ancient wheat, so this pasta contains gluten. KAMUT® fusilli cook in 10 minutes, or 9 for al dente.
The second is green spinach pasta: linguine, spaghetti, gramigna, fusilli, penne and farfalle. The third is tricolour pasta (Tricolore) as fusilli, penne and farfalle. The exact ingredients of these two groups are not given on the range page.
The range is aimed at people looking for a different flavour or colour on the plate: khorasan pasta with vegetables, green farfalle with butter sauces, tricolour fusilli for pasta salads.
