🧀 Dodoni Feta PDO
Dodoni Feta PDO is Dodoni's feta made from pasteurised Greek sheep's and goat's milk from Epirus, sold in brine, barrel-aged and with less salt.
Dodoni Feta PDO is the PDO feta of the Greek company Dodoni from Ioannina. According to Dodoni, it is made from 100% Greek pasteurised sheep's and goat's milk from Epirus farms, and feta is the company's flagship product. Decades ago Dodoni began stamping its logo on the cheese as a mark of authenticity.
Feta is a white brined cheese from Greece, ripened and kept in brine; under the PDO rules only cheese from Greek sheep's milk with up to 30% goat's milk may carry the name.
The range on the Dodoni site includes feta in a plastic tub with brine, barrel-aged Varelisia feta, feta with less salt and portion packs.
Keep opened feta in the fridge, covered with brine.
How to use: in Greek salad with olives, in filo pies, baked with tomatoes and peppers, or drizzled with olive oil and oregano.
