Mlekovita Mozzarella
Mlekovita Mozzarella is a Polish cow's milk mozzarella range: balls, mini balls, rolls, blocks and grated mozzarella.
Mlekovita Mozzarella is a range of cow's milk mozzarella from the Polish dairy cooperative Mlekovita. Mozzarella is a pasta filata cheese: the curd is scalded and stretched, so it is fibrous and stretches well when baked.
The range has formats for home and professional kitchens: a 125 g Classic ball, 150 g mini balls, a 250 g Maxi roll, a 250 g piece, a 150 g cube, a 2 kg block and 1 kg of grated mozzarella. For catering the cooperative sells mozzarella and mascarpone under the Kuchmistrza name.
How to use it: balls and mini balls in salads with tomatoes and basil, on sandwiches and in snacks; the block, cube and grated mozzarella on pizza and in bakes, lasagne and pasta. Keep fresh balls in their brine in the fridge and eat them soon after opening.
The range is listed under pasta filata cheeses; the cheese itself is described on the mozzarella page.
