Liguori Gnocchi
Liguori potato gnocchi made from fresh Italian potatoes and Italian durum wheat semolina, without salt or flavourings.
Liguori Gnocchi are potato gnocchi from the Liguori pasta factory. According to the maker, they are made only from fresh Italian potatoes with Italian durum wheat semolina, without salt or flavourings.
The gnocchi have a soft, velvety centre and cook very quickly, in about 2 minutes. The maker suggests serving them with ragù or pesto, with creamy cheese sauces or with butter and sage. A classic is gnocchi alla sorrentina: with tomato and basil sauce, mozzarella and grated parmesan, browned in the oven. They can also be cooked in an air fryer.
Unlike Liguori's wheat pasta, the gnocchi do not carry the Pasta di Gragnano PGI: they are a separate product based on potato, with semolina only binding the dough. Because of the wheat semolina, they contain gluten.
The range is made by Liguori, a pasta maker in Gragnano, Campania, whose history goes back to 1795 and whose pasta is sold in more than 70 countries. Potato gnocchi belong to the gnocchi and spätzle group: dough products that are not extruded through a die but shaped into small pieces.
