🧀 Ferrari Grana Padano
Ferrari Grana Padano is the Grana Padano PDO range of Ferrari Formaggi, aged from 9 months to Riserva over 20 months: grated cheese, wedges and Cuor di Forma.
Ferrari Grana Padano is a range of Grana Padano, the hard Italian cheese with a Protected Designation of Origin, from the family-owned company Ferrari Formaggi.
Grana Padano is made from cow's milk in the Po plain. According to Ferrari, the company selects dairies that go through a careful quality assessment. The fire brand certifying the name Grana Padano DOP is applied only to wheels examined one by one against the requirements of the Grana Padano Consortium. Ferrari matures the cheese itself, from at least 9 months up to Grana Padano Riserva aged over 20 months, and picks each wheel at the stage of ripening that best suits the product.
Products in the range: grated Grana Padano and grated Riserva; 12-month and 20-month Riserva wedges; the Cuor di Forma block aged 16 months; and gift sets, such as cheese aged 10, 16 and 20 months with Amarena cherries, or Riserva with honey or fig jam.
How to use it: add the grated cheese to pasta, risotto, soups and bakes, and serve Riserva wedges on a cheese board with honey, balsamic vinegar and fruit. Keep it in the fridge, tightly wrapped.
