Setaro Integrale e Bio is a range from the Setaro pasta works in Torre Annunziata that brings together two groups of pasta. Like the rest of the range, it is dry durum wheat pasta, extruded through bronze dies and dried slowly at low temperature.
The organic pasta (Bio) is made from semolina of Italian durum wheat grown under organic farming rules. It comes in four shapes: spaghetti, linguine, penne rigate and rigatoni. The wholegrain pasta (Integrale) is richer in fibre and includes spaghetti, fettucce, penne, cannolicchi rigati and ditali rigati. All shapes are sold in 500 g packs, and the long ones are 30 cm long.
Wholegrain spaghetti and fettucce go well with vegetable sauces, olive oil and pesto, while the short cannolicchi and ditali suit soups and bean dishes. The organic spaghetti and linguine are a classic semolina pasta for those who prefer products of organic origin.
