Granoro Dedicato Pasta all'Uovo

Granoro Dedicato Pasta all'Uovo is the egg pasta in Granoro's Dedicato series. The ingredients are semolina from durum wheat 100% grown in Apulia, and category A eggs from hens raised in Italy. The site does not state the egg percentage. Under Italian law, dry egg pasta must contain at least four whole eggs per kilogram of semolina.

The range has 9 formats. They include fettuccine ribbons no. 118 and small soup pasta (pastina): farfalline no. 112, tiny farfalle; filini no. 115, short thin threads; funghetti no. 111, little "mushrooms"; and grattoni no. 128, small crumbs of dough.

Egg makes the dough firmer and more yellow, so this pasta holds up better in broth. The ribbons suit cream and meat sauces, while the small formats go into chicken or vegetable broth, including for children. The pasta contains egg and wheat, so it is not suitable for people allergic to them or with coeliac disease.
