Kiri is a French brand of creamy cheese in square portions owned by the Bel group, which also includes La Vache qui rit, Babybel and Boursin.

According to Bel, Kiri reached the shelves in 1966 after several years of research in Bel's dairies and soon became a cheese for children's afternoon snacks. In 1969 its first TV advertisement appeared, with a slogan about “gourmets in short trousers”. In the 1980s the square portion went from Europe to the Middle East and Asia, where the brand adapts its recipes to local tastes. In 2000 came Kiri Goûter with breadsticks for dipping.

Kiri is made with French milk and cream; according to the brand, the milk is collected from farms every 48 hours. One Kiri portion provides 110 mg of calcium, or 14% of daily needs. Kiri Goûter and Kiri Fouetté are made at the Sablé-sur-Sarthe dairy (Pays de la Loire). Whipped Kiri Fouetté is a fresh cheese of milk, cream, cultures and salt, while Kiri Goûter contains a processed cheese product.

The ranges are Kiri portions, Kiri Goûter, Kiri délicieusement fouetté, Kiri Jar, Kiri Rubik and a professional range; organic versions also exist. Kiri is eaten as an afternoon snack, spread on bread and added to dishes from pasta to cheesecakes.
