Recheis Original Tyroler Teigwaren
Recheis's egg-free dry pasta line from Hall in Tirol, made only from Austrian durum wheat semolina and Karwendel water: Fleckerl, Hörnchen, spaghetti and Spiralen.
Recheis Original Tyroler Teigwaren is a newer line of dry pasta from Recheis in Hall in Tirol, made without egg. According to the official site, the only ingredient is durum wheat semolina from Austria; the durum wheat is grown exclusively for Recheis by more than 200 family farms in the Weinviertel in Lower Austria, and the dough is made with mountain water from the Karwendel nature reserve. The pasta is certified vegan.
The line has four shapes: Fleckerl (small squares, cooking time 6 minutes, suited to the Austrian Fleckerlspeis and bakes), Hörnchen (elbow pasta similar to macaroni), spaghetti and Spiralen (spirals similar to fusilli). The pack shows the Hafelekar peak above Hall.
Unlike Recheis Goldmarke, which contains eggs, this is classic durum wheat pasta of the kind sold across Europe, presented with a nod to the company's history since 1889. Recheis recommends 1 litre of water and 7–10 g of salt for every 100 g of pasta.
