Di Martino's core dry pasta line from Gragnano: classic long and short shapes made from Italian durum wheat semolina, with Pasta di Gragnano IGP status.

Di Martino Pasta di Gragnano IGP is the core dry pasta line of the Di Martino pasta factory in Gragnano: the classic long and short shapes. It is made from Italian durum wheat semolina and water, and the company stresses the spring water of the Lattari Mountains. The dough is extruded through bronze dies, giving a rough surface that holds sauce well, and is dried slowly at low temperature. The line carries Pasta di Gragnano IGP status, an EU protected geographical indication.

Long shapes include spaghetti, thinner spaghettini, linguine, bucatini, vermicelli and the thicker vermicelloni. Short shapes include penne (among them penne mezzani rigate and penne ziti), rigatoni, tortiglioni, short fusilli with a hole, gemelli, farfalle, radiatori and mezze maniche. There are also small soup shapes such as ditalini, anelli, stelline, orzo and alphabet pasta.

On its product pages the company suggests classic pairings: bucatini with carbonara, linguine with pesto, spaghetti with tomato and basil. This is everyday pasta for tomato, meat and vegetable sauces and for fish and seafood dishes.
