Rustichella d'Abruzzo's core dry pasta line of durum wheat semolina and water, bronze-die extruded: long and short shapes and pastina.

Rustichella d'Abruzzo Classica is the core line of the Abruzzo pasta maker: dry durum wheat pasta made only from semolina and water. Like the rest of the brand's dry pasta, the dough is extruded through bronze dies, which leave a rough surface, and dried slowly at low temperature – according to the company, at 35–40 °C for up to 50 hours.

The online shop divides the line into long shapes, short shapes and pastina. Long shapes include capellini, spaghettini, spaghetti, Spaghettone del Leone, linguine, chitarra (spaghetti alla chitarra), bucatini, fettuccine and ridged pappardelle. Short shapes include penne and penne rigate, pennette, fusilli, mezze maniche, rigatoncini, rigatoni, tortiglioni, casarecce and creste di gallo. Related groups in the shop cover regional shapes, giant formats and flavoured semolina pasta.

Classica is everyday pasta for tomato sauce, carbonara, amatriciana, aglio e olio and baked dishes.
